Hello all you Bolo Fans out there! I've been playing
around with the Bolo .95 BMAP and came up with a
new Bolo map wich i call "forest" This Bolo map has
no building like structures or highways in it. Is all
designed for stratigic playing and set up so you can
cause a lot of mayham building your own roads and
defences. PLEASE NOTE: this bolo map has only 10 bases!
the original bolo map has 11 bases, when you load up
the game the base radar will show 11 bases, so don't
spend all your life looking for the 11th base, its not
there.
Instructions:
1. Cut out the below text and past it to a word processor
that can save files in TEXT format. Save it.
2. Convert it with binhex
3. Load up resedit, open the "Bolo BMAP (forest)" file
and open up the BMAP resource and copy resoruce 128
4. Open the Bolo game using resedit, open its BMAP
resource. Paste in the copyed resource, It should ask
you if you want the resoruce to have a new id since
is already a 128 resoruce in there. Give it a new id
5. Hilight the 128 resource from the Bolo game and do a
get info. Change the resorse to 140. Close. Open the
resouse you pasted in (it should be 129) and change
it to 128.
6. Close and save.
7. Play, cause mayham, enjoy.
8. Get back to me if it needs any improvements.
